Velo Bike Rental was established and is run from the beautiful southern coastal resort of Potos. With a wide range of services and activities, we are Thassos’ most respected and modern mountain bike company. From mountain bike rental or hire, beautiful tours – excursions and even bike servicing – we cover a wide range of services to better serve the need of our customers.

We have 4 diferent kategories of bikes that you can choose for your trips:

• Simple mtb with 7-8 yeard old of use
• Good quality mtb with disk brakes and full shimano xt with 4-5 yers of use
• Top quality mtb or road bikes with xt or Ultegra.
• Top quality e-bikes mtb from CUBE for longer trips or tours

We have high standards for our bikes as you can see from our pictures.

In our services is included:

• The transportation and back from your hotel (we are located in Potos)
• Any bike gear you may need (helmets,tools,spare tubes locks,etc)
• Special cycling maps of Thassos or gpx.files with routes on the island.

We also have several tours with e-bikes or normal bikes that will fit a wide variety of fitness and skill levels – we’ll take care of everything!

From the moment you walk in our place, we will make sure you are fitted with the bike that is best going to assist you in your adventure and also the equipment that’s going to keep you safe along the way – helmet, pump, lock, map, saddle bag. You don’t need to be in your best shape anymore to cycle like a pro up to the highest peaks of Thassos. Our new e-bikes can bring you there very fast and safely, so you can enjoy the spectacular view from the highest points of the whole island.

If you are an athlete and you don’t want to stop training during your holidays we can plan together your training program with routes for running or cycling according to your training program.

We can suggest you routes with the best climbs or even train together in our cycling singeltracks or running routes. We can arrange also trainings together any time of the day you like so you continue your preparation for your upcoming events!

In our shop, we do also bike repairing or a full service to your bike. If you need any components we can order it for you and replace it on your bike in one or two days. We can also support you with inner tubes, small tools, etc.

Thassos offers endless opportunities for all kinds of excursions, ensuring that you will never run out of things to see and do during your stay here. Thassos truly has something for all kinds of visitors and it can be incredibly exciting for our cyclist friends.

It is a pole of attraction for thousands of tourists every year, especially during summer, but it is also a perfect place for vacations during autumn and spring as well. It is very close to the main Greek land, thus the expenses to get here are very low, comparing to the other Greek islands.

Thassos has beautiful beaches, which have crystal blue waters, all around the island. It also has amazing deep green nature areas full of plane and pine trees at its inner part. Thus, is a perfect place for holidays because it combines perfectly the sea and mountain.

What you will find most  important is that Thassos hosts two big cycling events. THASSOS INTERNATIONAL CYCLING WEEKEND and ROAD RACE “TOUR OF THASSOS”.
