Bella Cisterna

A major attraction is the 19th century masterpiece; a white marble cistern – elevated walkway, unique of its kind. An amazing aqueduct that stores about 500 tons of water, the cistern crosses the estate from north to south. It measures 140m in length and is 3m wide and 2m high, offering a very impressive walk above a grove of citrus and fruit trees.

Bella Cisterna  offers rooms as well as studios equipped with a kitchen. They all have a spacious  terrace. Neohori), the sandy beaches (Karfas, Megas Limionas)  in short distance and the lively city of Chios with its museums. Kampos formed during the Genoese rule in the 14th century combines in harmony the unique natural landscape with the distinctive architectural features of the luxurious Genoese mansions of that era, keeping a sense of times gone by.

Τhe nature loving and cultural cycling routes of Kampos and its surroundings are ideal for every biker regardless his/her level. Professional and experienced mountain bikers can explore more distant cycling routes and catch breathtaking views of the medieval mastic villages and  the famous beaches of the South East of Chios.
