The Municipality of Mytilene was officially awarded the “Bike Friendly Destination” certification during the “Tsamakia Kids MTB 2025” event, held on Sunday, 22 June 2025, in Mytilene. The event was organized by the Lesvos Cycling Club in collaboration with the Municipality of Mytilene. At the conclusion of the event, Ms. Vicky Karantzavelou, General Director of NATTOUR, presented the Bike Friendly award to Mr. Panagiotis Christofas, Mayor of Mytilene, acknowledging the efforts of both the Municipality and the local cycling club in promoting cycling infrastructure and developing bicycle tourism in the region
