I Ride, I Learn, I Change the World in Alexandroupolis: Initiative Promoting Environmental Awareness and Cycling Culture
Alexandroupolis is set to host the interactive initiative “I Ride, I Learn, I Change the World!” on Sunday, September 21, 2025, along the Coastal Road, offering participants of all ages the opportunity to combine cycling, education, and environmental awareness for a better world.

The initiative is organized by the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, through the General Directorate of Transport and Communications and the Transport and Communications Directorate of Evros, in collaboration with the Alexandroupolis Model Vocational High School and the 4th Gymnasium of Alexandroupolis. Titled “I Ride, I Learn. I Change the World! Small Actions – Big Changes!”, the event will take place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 11:00 to 13:30, starting at the Scouts Park along the Coastal Road. The initiative is open to everyone, regardless of age, from 7 to 97 years old, combining physical exercise with education and environmental awareness.

Under the slogan “Small Actions – Big Changes”, the initiative promotes the development of cycling culture and environmental consciousness, showing participants how their daily choices can contribute to a more sustainable and eco-friendly world. Participants will ride along a scenic route, equipped with bicycles, helmets, and a positive mindset, enjoying both physical activity and learning about sustainable mobility practices.

Completing the route will be accompanied by symbolic and practical rewards:
- Certificate of participation
- Bicycle safety light
- A unique experience of life and knowledge
This initiative represents a meaningful effort to engage citizens of all ages and lays the foundation for fostering a dynamic cycling culture in Alexandroupolis.
